Maybe...I guess we'll find out when she has her vaccines this year. I am a bit nervous, but at least I will know what signs to watch for, and hopefully I can nip it in the bud before it gets too bad.

Gave my first set of vaccines to Valeroso this morning. He stayed super calm through-out. It's nice having an experienced friend to give pointers while you do the injections. One important one was to circle in Sharpie the injection site then write on the packaging of each shot where the injection was given. Apparently the vet will want to know the type of shot with location, the preservative (thimerosol in this case); and anti-bacterial Polymyxin B that were in the shots. No vaccine reaction from Valeroso and he enjoyed some peppermint treats when he was finished.

Kirk I always give the 5 way on one side and the W Nile on the other then if there's problems I know which one, never thought about circling it. That's a good idea.
